INTERMISSION PUB & PARLOUR
364 Parkplace Center
Kirkland, WA
(425) 576-0361
I’m really pleased to announce this great new acoustic
venue – and on the Eastside! Open for only a few short months now (as of
this update – November 2002), the Intermission Pub & Parlour is a
smoke-free venue, hosting music Thursday through Sunday nights each week, from
8:30-midnight. It’s an all ages joint and there’s no cover charge! In
addition, the IP&P has a kid’s day on Saturdays, poetry readings on
Tuesday nights and a fun open mic on Wednesday nights. And if you don’t
think you can get your teenager to come out with you, you might mention the
FREE internet terminals and perhaps that will get their attention. Not that
they’d pay any attention to the music, but at least you could keep an eye on
them! Hey, this place is happening!
Least I forget – food and beverage! The IP&P menu
consists of light fare which includes appetizers, sandwiches, salads,
desserts, espresso, beer and wine.
If you’re familiar with the Kirkland area (in particular,
Kirkland Parkplace), the IP&P sits in the shadow of the theatre complex.
If you were to walk up to the box office, IP&P would be immediately to
your right. If you’re NOT familiar with Kirkland, the address is 364
Parkplace Center, and here’s a map to get you there!
Hope you’ll help this place be
successful by patronizing it when you can! Thanks!
