 View MJ Bishop's EPK SPRING/SUMMER 2008 **MJ's song Hobo Dreams just received Honorable Mention in the latest issue of American Songwriter Magazine lyric contest. Ain't that nice? Click here (and then the audio tab) if you want to have a look/listen.** Pull Of The Moon was mastered on May 1, and I'm still on track for a late May release. Whooooosh. Mastering is a mystery to most and, although an exciting phase in the creation of an album, it's a bit anti-climactic, in MHO. Maybe some of it has to do with the fact that I've been living / sleeping / breathing / eating these tunes for up towards a year. And just when you think you're "done" with it all, you have to get out there and perform these same tunes for the next several years. But I'm still in love with them all, really I am... My Southwest "teaser tour" was fun and successful and I'm counting the days until I leave for my two-month tour on June 3. Hope to do some blogging on MySpace while I'm on the road, so do please check in every now and again. Thanks again, everyone, for all your love and support over the past year.
